Should You Become A Curlisto Certified Salon? (Spoiler Alert, The Answer Is Yes)

Curlisto is a unique beauty brand for a variety of reasons. For one thing, we are one of few brands that cater specifically to curly hair. We develop relationships with our clients, getting to know them (and their hair!) as if they were a part of our family. And they are! Each client who comes into one of our Curlisto salons becomes part of our curly hair family and we do our best to make sure that by the time they leave, they have learned what they need to to continue to take care of their curls until the next time we see them.

You know who else we consider a part of the Curlisto family? Our Curlisto certified salons! And that’s one more attribute that we are proud of here at Curlisto. We have monthly salon professional education classes in which we give the opportunity to our visiting salons to become certified by one of the top curly hair brands in the country. If you are still wondering if one of these classes might be right for you, check out some of our pointers below.

1. Become Certified In The Art of Cutting Curly Hair: In our day long cutting class, you will receive training in our curly hair cutting techniques including our trademarked Diametrix system, which interlocks the curls to frame the face in a beautiful and face flattering cut.

2. Be Listed As A Curlisto Certifed Salon: Not only will you be listed on the Curlisto website but you will also be mentioned in our monthly newsletter, reaching over 500 bloggers, vloggers and salon professional platforms. We will also recommend your salon to all of our Curlisto clients in your area. Our brand reaches curly haired women all over the world and we want to make sure they can access a great curly hair cut wherever they are.

3. Gain A Whole Line Of Curlisto Products For Your Salon: As part of the Curlisto registration package, your salon will receive an entire line of Curlisto styling products. Adding these products as well as new salon services will help you gain a whole new list of clients. And why wouldn’t you want to help a new group of curly haired women learn how to love and embrace their hair texture? (We certainly enjoy it!)

4. Experience Practicing On Live Models:While many education programs give professionals the opportunity to practice on mannequins, our salon provides live models for you to work on. After all, we cater to real women, so why would we want a plastic one in our salon chair?

Hope to see you at our next class, on November 7th! Visit our Salon Professional page or email Natalie at Natalielin@christonyc.com to register!
