The Pros and Cons of Going Big

As a woman with curly hair, I spend most of my time trying to keep my curls under control. Trying to tame them and keep them from reaching their natural volume. I am not alone in this, but there are many women who feel the opposite. And that is totally fine! So many women can pull of the big hair trend and when they can that is awesome. But if this is a dive you are about to take it’s good to brush up on some much needed preparation to make sure you can handle all those curls and treat them right!

Pro : If your hair gets wild throughout the day, that’s even better! Instead of spending all day constantly taming the coils, you can concentrate on everything else going on in your life.

Con : But sometimes big hair can lead to frizzy hair. But frizzies are not a big hair deal breaker! Our Curlisto Lotion Plus strengthens and defines your curls leaving them soft and frizz free. So you can enjoy your big beautiful hair without the added stress.

Pro : The more hair you have, the more attention you get. If curly hair is a statement, then big curly hair is an even bigger, louder statement (in the best way possible.)

Con : Sometimes you get attention that you don’t want. For some reason, people who don’t embrace their curls often try to give advice to those who do. But of course we know better than anyone exactly what our locks need. For those who want to work their curls regardless of who thinks they know better than you, spritz in some Curlisto Glow & Shine and watch your curls glisten!

Pro : Moisture is your best friend. Curly hair is dry by nature and the more of it you have, the more you are going to have to keep it hydrated! If you don’t have any water on you, make sure to pick up some Curlisto Bio Curl Conditioner for that extra hydration.

Con : Moisture is your worst enemy. If you are going to be exposing your curls to some inclement weather. make sure it’s protected with Curlisto Control II Gel ! This high humidity gel provides extreme hold and is perfect for big, voluminous coils.
