Celebrating 15 Years of Curls!

info curlisto • October 20, 2016

This Monday, Curlisto will be celebrating 15 years of beautiful women, beautiful hair and of course stunning curls! When we opened our first salon 15 years ago on fifth avenue, curly hair was experiencing a downturn in popularity after the ten year popularity of the 1980s. Thankfully, curly hair is making a comeback! So in honor of our upcoming anniversary, we thought we would celebrate the best curly hair moments of the past 15 years. Enjoy!

1. Beyonce Lemonade Blonde:

There’s nothing better than Beyonce with her natural hair … or there wasn’t until Bey wore her natural hair for Lemonade! To get the Lemonade look, prep hair with Curlisto Protein Boost to get strong, smooth, healthy curls!

2. Taylor Switft’s Fearless Era Ringlets:

Fearless was really what put Taylor into the public eye and it was her gloden locks that became her trademark for a long time after. We recommend Curlisto Curl Reform for anyone who has curls like Taylor’s!

3. Lorde’s Iconic Brunette Locks:

Lorde came on to the scene several years ago with a unique sound, a forceful personality and a great head of hair! If you have thick curls like Lorde, try Curlisto Control I Gel to keep your curls in check!

4. Zendaya’s Enviable Mane:

Zendaya can pull off arguably any hairstyle and these natural curls are no exception. With Zendaya’s curl type, a spritz of Curlisto Structura Spray will make sure that you don’t have to worry about your curls losing their shape throughout the day!

5. Maria Borges’ Groundbreaking Natural Hair:

If you are looking to transition your hair to it’s natural curls, try Curlisto Aqualizer to help get rid of the chemicals and build up from styling your hair straight.
